Scrapping Out Loud: Cheeky Studio Cards and Kit

Hello! Today, I’m sharing with you a couple of projects made using Cheeky Studio products.

The first is this trio of ‘thinking of you’ cards. To create the background, I splodged colour onto mixed media paper, using Gelatos and the packaging technique. After this layer had dried, I sponged more Gelatos through a rose stencil before adding a strip of vintage-style washi tape across the middle. To create the central elements, I added Gathered Twigs’ distress ink around the edges of three ephemera pieces from the Cheeky Studio Pink and Cream Bouquet ephemera pack, and then mounted them on foam tape to help them stand out from the background. The stamp I used was a freebie from a magazine.

My second Cheeky Studio project this week was this 12×12 layout made using the July kit based on the Sweet Succulents collection. It’s rare that you find me in a photo because I’m usually the one holding the camera, but when I found these pictures recently, I decided to scrap them together for posterity! The colours in the kit worked perfectly with the colours in the pictures. I even managed to squeeze in some bows from the Wishes collection. If you’d like to see how this came together, there’s a process video on YouTube.
