Hello! My name is Natalie Bowers, and I am a media-mixer, memory-keeper and paper-planner, living in the south of England with my husband and two children.

I describe myself as a gregarious loner and shameless eavesdropper and can often be found haunting the dark recesses of coffee shops and cafes, my pencil poised above paper. When I’m not drawing or doodling, I’m either crafting in my shoffice, or editing videos for my YouTube channel. I also like to trawl charity shops for vintage paper and comb local beaches for sea glass.

Once upon a time, I was a fiction writer and my short stories were published online and in print. Nowadays, though, I sell my art and handmade cards at craft fayres, and since the summer of 2019, I have also been selling papercraft and journaling supplies in my Etsy shop. Over the last few years, I have been a member of several planning and papercraft design teams, and have regularly written tutorials and made videos about card-making, planning, memory keeping and journaling. I have also been a guest designer for a number of companies and have recently had my designs turned into mixed media stamps by Mama Makes. My oldest scrapbook is over thirty years old, is made of sugar paper and documents my adventures while on a school trip to Germany. My newest scrapbook is a project life album in which I record the everyday events of life. In between are 12×12 albums, A4 display books and Travelers Notebooks – I love them all.

On a more personal note, I have overcome severe depression and anxiety and now readily share the story of how I am recovering by discovering wellness, resilience and purpose through creativity, mindfulness, meditation and planning.
