The Finding Hope Challenge 2019

Hello! Today I’m launching the @crafting.out.loud Finding Hope Challenge 2019. For detailed info, please watch my YouTube video below, but the basics are as follows: over the course of July we’re going to journal about all the things that give us hope, that feeling of positive expectation, the things we look forward to, so that by the end of the month we’ll have built up a ‘hope bank’ from which we can make withdrawals during times when our hope needs a bit of a top-up. Also, I’ve created another craft along kit to go with this challenge. Again, details are in the video. I do hope you’ll join me in creating this really useful wellness tool. xxx

Free Printable: Wellness Habit Tracker

It’s that time again: the first of the month – new habit tracker time.

I’ve found habit tracking to be invaluable in my recovery from mental illness. It’s helped me figure out which of my habits are helping and which are hindering. It also helps me get into new good habits.

This habit tracker has been a year in the making. If you’re interested in finding out how I got from to where I am now, then you might like to watch my video called A Year of Habit Tracking: Mental Health Edition, where I take you through all the ways I’ve tracked my habits over the last year.

If tracking your wellness habits is something you’d like to do, but don’t know where to start, then I’ve made a free printable wellness tracker for you. You can download it as a PDF and print it off at home. You could stick it in your diary, journal or planner and even colour it in if you like. When I check off my daily habits, I usually put a cross in the boxes to show that I’ve done them, but you can mark off your habits however you choose. I’ve deliberately left the days and dates off of this tracker so you can use it for any month.

Do let me know if this tracker is helpful and if there are any others you’d like me to make. Feel free to share it with anyone who you think would enjoy using it.

Thanks for stopping by. See you soon! x

Free Printables: InCoWriMo Postcards

With International Correspondence Writing Month (aka InCoWriMo) just around the corner, I thought I’d share some free printable postcards with you. I painted the originals on actual postcards, so they’re the perfect dimensions to print onto card and release into the wild by snail mail. However, if what you want to write won’t fit on a postcard, you could stick them on the front of a greetings card instead.

Simply left click on each image to view the large version, right click on this larger image, then select ‘Save Image As.’

If to share your these postcards on social media do tag me, so I can see it and say ‘Hi!’
